Knutsford Cycling Map is Released!

After many hours work and public consultation we have produced a map which has roads colour coded indicating the level of experience cyclists need. In addition pedestrian shortcuts, which only those living nearby may know about, are marked. There are no designated cycle routes in Knutsford as yet, but this map should allow residents to plan their own safest routes using linking pedestrian paths as a link. It is of course also useful to pedestrians.

It was funded by the Lottery Fund and produced in collaboration with Cheshire East Council, Knutsford Photographic and Ashley
Dumville, and Active Maps.

The map was officially launched at Booths in April and was promoted at the Lions Medieval Fair on May Bank Holiday, where we also gained a number of new members.

The Map is available free of charge from:

  1. Knutsford Library
  2. Bikes ‘N’ Gear – 31 King Street, Knutsford
  3. Knutsford Heritage Centre
  4. Knutsford Leisure Centre
  5. The Toft Road Dental Practice

Very well done to all concerned!
